Deborah regularly advises on and manages multifaceted re-organisation, restructure and redundancy projects, involving both individual and collective consultation. With particular expertise in advising on complex and developing areas of employment law, she often advises businesses on issues such as employment status, holiday pay, trade union recognition and the application of TUPE.
She frequently supports the firm’s Corporate Recovery team and has significant experience in dealing with employment law issues arising on distressed or insolvent sales.
Deborah deals with complex employment tribunal litigation, including claims involving numerous strands of discrimination, multiple respondents, insolvent respondents, and collective consultation (brought by trade unions).
Deborah was nominated and shortlisted for the Yorkshire Lawyer’s Rising Star award in 2017.
