Clarion was yet again a worthy winner Thursday night at the Insider Yorkshire Dealmakers Awards – the biggest night in our region’s deal-making calendar.
Held at New Dock Hall in Leeds, Clarion was nominated for six awards in five different categories – for Corporate Law Firm of the Year, for Deal of the Year (below £5 million); for Deal of the Year (between £5 million and £25 million); for the Community Award and Associate Sarah Harrison was up for Emerging Dealmaker of the Year.
We are delighted to announce we won Deal of the Year (below £5 million) for the Corporate team’s fantastic work on the iPortalis deal, along with Grant Thornton, Squire Patton Boggs, and Oakley Advisory. The deal involved investment by NorthEdge Capital into iPortalis, a cloud services specialist, providing it with a multi-million pound growth capital investment to support its global expansion, you can read more about this deal on our blog.
This is a great achievement and caps an incredible year for the team.
Jonathan Simms said, “I am very proud of the team for being nominated so many times this year. It is a real testament to the quality of the team that we can now work on every spectrum of corporate work in so many different sectors. We are now widely acknowledged as one of the top corporate teams in the region.”
Our congratulations to everyone in the Clarion Corporate team.
