Thank you to teams that have entered so far in 2014 - here is why they want to take part...
"We enter a team in the Leeds 10k every year, it’s always really popular with our staff and it supports a very worthy cause – we wouldn’t miss it for the world!"

"Armstrong Watson have entered a team in the Corporate Challenge every year since 2008. Every year the event just sees to get bigger and better and we are proud to continue our association with it. This years event has the added spice in that for the 1st time Armstrong Watson are entering 2 year meaning that our Leeds office goes head-to-head with our Skipton office. True inter office rivalry!"
“Amongst the Kings Chambers’ barristers and clerks we have a number of keen sportsmen and women so we were delighted to enter a team in this year’s Clarion 10k Corporate Challenge. For six years the challenge has been an increasing success, raising a substantial amount for the Run For All charity and as a proud part of the Leeds business community we’ll be making an extra effort to get everyone across the finish line in double quick time.”
"Having taken part in the Leeds 10k Clarion corporate challenge every year since it started, it has become an essential date on the calendar. Last year Irwin Mitchell had just one team. This year we will be turning out in numbers and hoping to compete for a good position. However it is the cause not the competition which makes this event so worthy and special."

"We are delighted to be joining you for the Leeds 10k Clarion Corporate Challenge. We have run in each of the last four years and the team here are very much looking forward to another enjoyable day. It’s an atmospheric course and one for which is perfect for a mix of abilities. The run is an excellent way to bring our team together in a fun but challenging environment. It is also an excellent opportunity to mix with other businesses in Leeds and generally promote the city."

"Talk Straight are entering a corporate team for the first time this year. The idea came after three employees ran the 10K last year for fun and mentioned that they might to do the same this year. This created a lot of interest and we found that staff were actively challenging each other to join a corporate team and raise some sponsorship! We now have 13 runners, all of who have committed to take part to raise money for our chosen charity, Childnet."

"A team from McCarthy's took place in the Leeds 10K Clarion Corporate Challenge in 2012 and we really enjoyed it - it was a good way to get fit and healthy and for us to work together as a team on a common goal, outside of the work environment. Eight people are taking place this year, and they are from all across the business - from both our Leeds and Harrogate Self Storage teams, from the removals office, from the records management side of things and also from our Business Centre. Perhaps ironically none of our extremely physically fit removal team members have signed up - but they have promised to sponsor us all! Everyone's set themselves their own time target and jointly we've also set a target to exceed the £1,600 raised two years ago. This year we're raising money for Sue Ryder and the Wheatfields Hospice. One of our colleagues, Stuart Wood, sadly passed away there in 2011, so we'll all be doing this in memory of him and other friends and family we've known who have needed the valuable services they offer."
