Following an extensive year-long refurbishment the 15,000sq ft offices have been transformed into high quality, contemporary accommodation for the firm’s 100 plus-strong team. As well as undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment to the interior, the exterior of the building has also been modernised and now incorporates a dedicated entrance for Clarion leading to its own reception area and two floors of office space.
“Our move at the current time is a demonstration of our belief in the strength of business in Yorkshire and also a reflection of the quality of our client base,” explains Mark Burns, managing partner of Clarion. “The firm has come a long way since its launch five years ago. Despite weathering one of the worst economic downturns in living memory, we have been able to benefit from demand for commercially-focused, cost effective legal advice and build a sound business with one of the strongest teams of lawyers in the region".
“At a time when many traditional law firms are struggling, we are fortunate to see the commitment and hard work of our team paying off with consistent growth year on year. Our half year results in January put us ahead of target with an increase in turnover of more than 25 per cent on the previous year. These prestigious new offices put us in an ideal position to continue to develop our ambitious plans for ongoing growth.”
Martin Grange, partner and head of Clarion’s property team, comments: “Located in the heart of the Leeds business quarter, our new home in Elizabeth House will give clients a convenient, modern and business-focussed environment as well as providing an improved working environment and a third more space for our ever growing team.”
Over the last 12 months, Clarion has recruited 33 new members of staff and now has 18 partners.
