The Suit Runner Andy Chaffer is delighted to have two new Suit Runners on board for this Sunday.
The Finance Yorkshire investment manager, Andy Chaffer, will be suited and booted for the Clarion Leeds 10K Corporate Challenge. He’ll even have a brolly in hand along with a briefcase.
After his plea last month for professionals to join him our own managing partner Mark Burns stepped up to the challenge along with Andy McKenna (right) from Lazarus properties.
Chaffer became the Suit Runner last year when he ran the Leeds Abbey Dash in aid of Prostate Cancer UK's Movember appeal. Last month, he completed the Jane Tomlinson Leeds half marathon and he will now do the Leeds 10K followed by this year’s Abbey dash, all raising money for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal.
On Sunday, July 20, Andy will be running in a washable suit and a shirt from Rohan, Clarks shoes and a brolly from UK Steel Enterprise. Other sponsors include Alfred Brown, the Leeds-based weavers of worsted cloth, and SME Insurance.
The businessman has already raised £1,000 for the Jane Tomlinson Appeal and will continue his fundraising.
Good luck to the Suit Runners and everyone else taking part this Sunday.
