Stephanie Dunderdale, associate solicitor in the private client team has been awarded the Leeds Law Society President’s Award.
Announced at the annual dinner held at the Queens Hotel on 7 March, the award celebrates any solicitor who has been qualified for less than three years and has made an outstanding contribution to Leeds’ legal services.
Stephanie was presented with the award by Philip Jordan, president of Leeds Law Society, who praised her for having a ‘remarkable attitude to people who are infirm or ill’ and a ‘massive pride in the profession’.
Sara Rogers, partner in Clarion’s private client team, commented: “Congratulations to Stephanie – she’s known for her tireless enthusiasm and excellent technical knowledge. We’re fortunate to have such a committed and talented team at Clarion and it’s fantastic to have this once again recognised by Yorkshire’s legal community.”
Stephanie joined Clarion as a trainee solicitor in 2008, having studied Law at the University of Leeds followed by the LPC at BPP, Leeds, where she obtained a distinction. She qualified in 2010 and works within Clarion’s private client team. In 2011, Stephanie was awarded a distinction in the Administration of Trusts exam.
Stephanie assists in all aspects of private client work including drafting wills and administrating estates. She handles the day to day management of the affairs of elderly clients and applications to the Court of Protection.
