Leeds law firm Clarion has appointed Sarah Bailey as residential conveyancer in its growing property team.
Sarah joins from Simpson Millar LLP in Leeds where she spent five years as a supervisor in the conveyancing department and she has also worked for Walker Morris as a conveyancing manager in its plots sales team. With more than ten years’ experience in residential conveyancing, Sarah has extensive expertise dealing with conveyancing transactions including freehold sale or purchase; leasehold sale or purchase; purchase of shared ownership properties; buying in and sale of new build properties; and transfer of equity and remortgage.
Martin Grange, partner in Clarion’s property team, commented: “Having an experienced residential conveyancer in the team will be a real asset. Sarah’s appointment follows the continuing growth of our property work both as a result of managing the portfolios of private investor clients and also dealing with the property needs of our private client department.”
Sarah is the latest recruit to join Clarion’s growing team as it prepares to move into its new offices at Elizabeth House next month.
“My focus has always been to work for professional firms that provide a high quality and good value service to clients, rather than being part of a high volume conveyancing operation,” said Sarah. “Clarion has established an excellent reputation, undertaking some complex property work and I am looking forward to working with such an experienced, dynamic team.”
Clarion's eight-strong property team provides a full range of property expertise from developer, investment, asset management, corporate occupier work through to secured lending.
