We’re delighted to once again be recognised in the Legal 500, the leading guide to law firms in the UK.
The Legal 500 UK 2017 edition highlights our ‘superb’ family practice which achieved a tier 1 ranking. Partner and head of our family law team Justine Osmotherley was noted as a leading individual for her particular expertise in high net worth divorce cases and dealing with cases involving complex assets.
Head of our ‘excellent’ dispute resolution practice, Simon Young was also noted as a leading individual and a ‘go-to litigator who ‘sees the wider commercial picture and is tactically spot on’. The team achieved one of the top rankings and is described as ‘always available, knows its stuff and inspires confidence’.
Daniel Carlton, head of our debt recovery team, was also singled for his significant experience in advising on debt collection and credit control services. The team recently acted for a national company in recovering debt of over £1m.
It was also great to see up-and-coming talent at Clarion recognised with Alison Batty, legal director in our property department, noted as a ‘next generation lawyer’.
Other Clarion practices which achieved high rankings were: private client, including our specialist contentious trusts and probate team; corporate and commercial; employment; intellectual property; corporate recovery; commercial property; and banking.
Described as ‘the client’s guide to the best law firms’, it’s extremely satisfying for the whole firm that we are continuing to be recognised for consistently delivering outstanding service.
