Welcome to Amanda Lee who has joined as the second partner in the firm’s expanding private client practice.

With 12 years’ experience, Amanda is a specialist private client solicitor, providing advice on wealth management, wills, trusts and tax planning for individuals, families and their companies together with the administration of estates and client services for the elderly.

Amanda joins Clarion from Last Cawthra Feather where she spent over six years, the majority of that time as partner in charge of the firm’s Ilkley office.  Previously, Amanda worked for Hartley & Worstenholme Solicitors in Pontefract and Castleford for four years.  Prior to entering the Law, she gained extensive experience as a business general manager and before that, she worked as a qualified HR manager.

“Amanda will be a real asset to our team and we are fortunate to be joined by someone with so much experience and such a strong reputation in Yorkshire,” commented Sara Rogers, partner in Clarion’s private client team.

“Our private client practice has been growing steadily and we have built up a team of nine dedicated lawyers.  Amanda will play a key role in helping us to continue to deliver high levels of service to our clients in Leeds and Ilkley as well as contributing to our growth in the coming years.”

Amanda comments:  “Clarion’s private client team has established itself as one of the leading practices in the region and I am looking forward to joining such a motivated and efficient team.”

Amanda is a member of Solicitors for the Elderly.

Earlier this year, two of Clarion’s private client team were among just 60 lawyers appointed to the national panel of Deputies for the Court of Protection following a rigorous selection process of over 600 applicants throughout the country.  In addition, the team has recently been shortlisted for a prestigious national award by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP).

Clarion’s private clients practice offers a full range of services including a tailor made package of essential legal documents to ensure the smooth running of clients’ legal and financial affairs should mental capacity be lost or if they should die.  The team provides expert advice on wealth management including tax planning and tax efficiency, and, in addition, it is able to provide expertise in contentious probate.
