Clarion is continuing to invest in developing young talent with the appointment of another three trainee solicitors.

Sadie Brook, Zoe Roberts and Grace Allison are the latest recruits to embark on a two year training contract with Clarion during which time they will gain experience in at least four departments.

Sadie initially joins the litigation team.  A graduate of Nottingham University with a degree in History, she went on to complete the GDL at the College of Law in York and the LPC at BPP in Leeds.  Prior to joining Clarion she had a year off exploring the world and visited various places including Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia.

Zoe’s first placement is with the corporate team.  She completed an English degree at Liverpool University in 2008 before working for a regional news website for four years. She then went on to complete the GDL at Leeds Met in 2012 and her LPC at BPP Leeds in July 2013. Zoe has spent the past year working at Virtual College in Ilkley and travelling around South America.

Grace has been working as a paralegal at Clarion in the Property department after completing her LPC which she studied part time.  She graduated from University of Leeds with a BA in European Union Studies with Law and then worked part time in the Citizens Advice Bureau as a trainee debt adviser before completing the GDL at BPP Law School, Leeds.  She has also worked as a Litigation Executive and completed the LPC at College of Law, Manchester.

“It’s important that businesses continue to invest in developing young talent and provide the vital hands-on experience they need as they embark on their professional careers,” said managing partner, Mark Burns.  “It’s always a pleasure to see the enthusiasm and fresh thinking they bring to the firm as well as the satisfaction of watching their development.”

Clarion has a 120-strong team, including 20 partners, based at its Elizabeth House offices on Queen Street.
