The Leeds 10k Clarion Corporate Challenge is officially launched. We have been proud sponsors of the race since it began 5 years ago.
The Leeds 10k Clarion Corporate Challenge is now open for companies across Yorkshire to sign up and take part. We have been proud sponsors of the race since it began 5 years ago.
As an integral part of the anniversary race which will take place on Sunday 19th June, Clarion and Jane Tomlinson’s Run For All are encouraging companies from across the region to join in the celebrations and take part in what is set to be another incredible event for the city.
“Since it began in 2007, the run has really caught the imagination of local people - it’s always great to see thousands of people running through the streets of Leeds to raise money for their chosen charity, cheered on by many more,” said Roger Hutton, senior partner at Clarion.
“Last year we saw a huge increase in the number of corporate teams with more than 600 employees from businesses across the region taking part – three times the number of the previous year. It is a great opportunity not only to get fit, but also to enjoy some networking and healthy rivalry.”
Mike Tomlinson said: “This is the 5th year of the event and the corporate challenge has grown at a speed we couldn’t have imagined in 2007. Last year’s social evening was an incredible success and was the stand out moment in the events calendar. We’ve got an amazing evening planned for this year and we hope many Yorkshire organisations take the opportunity to get involved.”
Since the inaugural Leeds 10K in 2007, the Clarion Corporate Challenge has seen an array of companies from across the region sign up and continue to support the event year on year.
The corporate package is available for an entry of £500, which entitles organisations to sign up a team of between three and ten people. The package also includes the following benefits company branded tee-shirts; inclusion on the 10K website; hospitality and networking events; team photography; and corporate prizes.
