Head of Clarion’s Family Team, Justine Osmotherley, has been included in the 2019 Spear’s 500 – Europe’s most respected guide to the top private client advisors, wealth managers, lawyers and service providers for high net worth (HNW) individuals.
Her inclusion in this year’s exclusive list puts Justine among the UK’s best and most experienced client-facing lawyers for the HNW community.
The Spear’s 500 is the required reference guide for Europe’s wealthy business owners and their families and the exceptional quality of the professionals included in the annual list reflects this. Entry onto The Spear’s 500 is based entirely on merit, with inclusion dependent on peer review, client testimonials and the magazine’s own HNW intelligence network. The Spear’s 500 Research Unit have assessed hundreds of individuals to, as the magazine says, “identify the best, brightest and most experienced specialists within their own fields. The carefully chosen entrants represent the best of the best”. We’re very proud that Justine is counted among this number.
“It’s an incredible compliment to be included in this year’s list”, says Justine. “This accolade comes as I celebrate my tenth anniversary at Clarion and demonstrates the strength and dedication of the team we’ve built here, who do incredible work every day.”
Justine is included on the list under the category ‘lawyers and accountants beyond London’, reflecting that, while she is based in Leeds, and has long been a stalwart of the HNW community in northern England, the strength and reach of her professional reputation is in no way limited to the north. The quality of Justine’s advice, and the depth of her experience means that she and her team attract clients locally, nationally and even globally - and are a credible competitor to London firms.
“It’s a great privilege to act on behalf of so many HNW clients,” says Justine, “but we’re also proud that we are able to help people from a variety of backgrounds, who are drawn to us because we have a great reputation and can offer niche expertise, whilst being backed by a full-service law firm.”
“We take great pride in not only offering the technical expertise that is required, but also the personal care we take with each of our clients, knowing that they reach out to us at what are often some of the lowest points in their lives. We are always aware of this and provide not only legal advice but the comforting arm around the shoulder as well.”
