DES Training & Consultancy in Wakefield is set to acquire a Sheffield-based training provider after securing a working capital facility from One Stop Business Finance.
DES director David Shaw will use the £35,000 facility to acquire 100 per cent of the share capital of Aspect Training Ltd together with additional working capital to support the business growth.
David Shaw, managing director of DES Training & Consultancy, said: "Having the support of One Stop Business Finance has allowed us to realise our dream of owning our own business, one which is established, so we can maintain the employment of the existing staff team, but also gives us the opportunity of growing the business, and thus employ more people in the Yorkshire area."
Andrew Mackenzie, managing director of One Stop Business Finance, added: "One Stop Business Finance is delighted with the DES Training and Consultancy transaction. Whilst it is at the smaller end of what we do, it genuinely provides David and Sarah with a fantastic opportunity to develop a very successful business."
The legal work on the transaction was undertaken by Ben Slack and John-Joseph Massey of Clarion Solicitors in Leeds.
