Having been shortlisted in three categories at this year’s Yorkshire Lawyer Awards, Clarion has been chosen as the top Private Client practice in the region.
Among Yorkshire’s best-known awards schemes, they bring together the region’s legal community to recognise and celebrate its achievements. The 2018 event saw 900 legal professionals attending the prestigious awards ceremony at New Dock Hall in Leeds with BBC Breakfast presenter Mike Bushell announcing the winners.
Clarion’s Private Client team, comprising 16 talented and highly technical lawyers, experienced 40% growth in the last financial year and offers the full range of Private Client services, including a large, dedicated Contentious Private Client team headed up by partner Lynsey Harrison.
Vivienne Wild, partner and head of our Private Client team said: “We are thrilled to be recognised in this way. We believe our exceptional technical expertise combined with our approachable, ‘can-do’ attitude makes us the most desirable Private Client team in Yorkshire. Our reputation is renowned, and clients are frequently referred to us from other law firms when complex issues are involved. Our approach means our clients are proud to call us their trusted business advisers, rather than just their lawyer, as we integrate our services with the rest of the firm.
“This is a great achievement and I’d like to thank every member of the team for their hard work, talent and commitment to always putting the client first.”
Clarion’s Banking & Finance practice and its Employment team were also recognised for their outstanding performance over the last 12 months.
Judged by a prestigious panel from the Yorkshire legal community, the awards, now in their 18th year, recognise the outstanding talent across our region.
Roger Hutton, joint managing partner of Clarion, said: “Over the last few years, the firm has been recognised in a plethora of awards, often at a national level, but it is, of course, very pleasing to have our expertise celebrated amongst our peers in Yorkshire.
“Looking at last night’s winners, we were in good company – well done to everyone, we should all be proud to be part of such a vibrant, flourishing legal community here in Yorkshire.”
