Clarion has further expanded its commercial team with the appointment of Fiona Marr as associate.
Matthew Hattersley, head of the team, commented: “Fiona has proven commercial law expertise. With the strong growth of our client base, including large businesses with more complex requirements, we are keen to bring in lawyers whose experience allows them to give clear advice, and not just sit on the fence.”
He continues, “Clarion’s commercial team, together with the IP team led by Leigh Martin, provide a great alternative to businesses seeking high quality and cost effective business advice. Fiona’s appointment will allow us to build on this success and further expand our commercial offering.”
Fiona joins from Scottish commercial law firm Harper Macleod LLP.
Fiona will be working on a range of commercial matters, including licensing agreements, supply agreements and tender documentation whilst also providing general commercial advice.
“This is an exciting opportunity for me,” commented Fiona. “Clarion is an ambitious firm with an expanding client base. The role fits perfectly with my commercial law background and I am looking forward to being part of such an experienced and respected team.”
Fiona Marr is the latest lawyer to join Clarion, following the appointment of Helen Gott last month as associate in the private client practice. The firm now has a 100 strong team including 19 partners.
The firm offers ten specialist service areas consisting of corporate, commercial and IP; corporate recovery; employment; property; dispute resolution; private client; family; debt recovery; costs and litigation funding.
