Clarion has boosted its property team with the appointment of Lindsay Texel, an experienced commercial property lawyer, who joins as partner.
Lindsay has 17 years’ experience as a commercial property lawyer. She trained at Eversheds in Leeds, qualifying into the property team in 1998 before joining Hammonds, now Squire Patton Boggs, two years later and becoming a partner in 2007. Lindsay has also completed secondments to Lloyds Banking Group and has dealt with several high value real estate finance transactions for Lloyds and for other major banks.
Lindsay has experience of acting for both investors and corporate occupiers in relation to their real estate portfolios across a diverse range of business sectors including retail, leisure, manufacturing and business services. She has considerable experience in large scale property acquisitions and disposals, corporate reorganisations and property management work for landlords and tenants. Lindsay also undertakes both commercial and residential property development work.
Lindsay has been involved in various charity initiatives and is chair and trustee of local Yorkshire charity, Phoenix Health & Wellbeing.
