Clarion is named top Yorkshire legal transaction adviser in the latest research from Experian Market IQ.
Experian Market IQ regularly carries out research to identify the most active advisers and according to the information services group's latest UK and Republic of Ireland M&A Review Experian found that 130 deals have been recorded so far this year in Yorkshire, compared to 138 transactions in the first quarter of 2017.
We are delighted to be recognised as the top legal adviser by volume in Yorkshire.
"The deals environment has been fairly buoyant over the last year and, with Clarion's strong brand, we have been able to make the most of it.
"Following the Brexit decision, we have found businesses in the region are generally forging ahead with their plans despite the ongoing economic uncertainty, with some hoping to take advantage of the slightly weaker pound to boost interest from overseas.
"In addition, with low interest rates set to continue entrepreneurs are as willing as ever to invest in businesses in the hopes of securing higher returns on their cash and likewise PE funds in Yorkshire haven't shown any signs of holding back or slowing down to wait for clarity on the deal with the EU."
