The ultimate business battle of 2013 has been set as Clarion confirms it will continue to sponsor the Leeds 10K Corporate Challenge for the 7th year running.
Carion has been a loyal supporter of the region’s biggest corporate challenge event since it first launched in 2007 and is now once again on board for 2013.
On Sunday 14th July 2013, teams of businesses from across the county will run the 10K route through the city of Leeds receiving corporate hospitality on the day itself and the chance to contribute to some of the region’s most deserving charities.
And if that’s not enough to instil a bit of team-bonding, a pre-event Cryptic Quest evening will allow organisations to fire up their competitive streaks as they try to crack our clues in search of a horde of prizes.
Hundreds of runners ran the corporate challenge this year with the fastest team completing the 6.2-mile course in a collective time of 01:59:04.
Clarion’s Senior Partner, Roger Hutton, said: “We are proud to have been part of the Leeds 10k for the past seven years, seeing the Corporate Challenge grow from a just a few corporate teams at the start to over 700 runners in 2012.
“The event has become a popular fixture in the Yorkshire business calendar with companies throughout the region enjoying friendly rivalry as well as taking advantage of great networking opportunities. We look forward to even more corporate teams taking part in 2013 to support this fantastic charity event.”
Run For All’s Event Director, Sara Birkinshaw, said: “We are delighted that Clarion has agreed to be our official corporate sponsors for another year. The company really does provide invaluable support to the Corporate Challenge, and without it, the event would not be the success that it is today.
“The Leeds 10K is going to be bigger and better than before so I’m urging companies to dig out their running shoes, grab a team of your colleagues and show your competitors how it’s done. The Clarion Corporate Challenge is a team-building event like no other and shows camaraderie at its best.”
The Clarion Leeds 10K Corporate Challenge is open to teams of 10 or more and includes a business networking event with a difference, to be held the week before the race.
Smaller businesses can opt to purchase a package for a team of 5.
