Our Mock Employment Tribunal was so popular last year that not all of those who wished to attend were able to do so due to limited places. Therefore, to give everyone the opportunity to benefit from this valuable experience, we have decided to examine the same case again this year.
If you joined us last year, we would be delighted if you would like to join us again provided that you do not share the outcome from last year’s Tribunal with our other guests!
At our Mock Tribunal you will see an employment tribunal hearing unfold in front of you, with the help of the Clarion employment team, a real Employment Judge and Barristers along with ‘witnesses’ played by actors. You will learn about the litigation process and giving evidence effectively, along with gaining a valuable insight into how an Employment Judge reaches judgments.
You will hear from a disgruntled Claimant, who felt he had no alternative but to resign from his role after 25 years’ service due to being bullied by his line manager. He was suffering depression and felt unsupported by the Company and was subsequently demoted. He claims constructive unfair dismissal, disability discrimination and failure to make reasonable adjustments.
The full day session includes:
- a full hearing bundle sent to you
- in advance, including pleadings and witness statements
- interactive workshop;
- entry into a prize draw to receive
- a luxury hamper;
- tips from a real employment
- judge on the dos and don’ts of tribunal hearings; and
- access to the Clarion employment team.
