A new supplement to part 19 of the Court of Protection Rules 2007 has been published which increases the fixed costs applicable for Court of Protection matters where the period covered by the category of fixed fee ends on or after 1 February 2011. New Court fees also apply for short form and detailed bills. The new fee for short form bills (for claims with profit costs under £3,000) is £110.00 and the fee for detailed bills (for all claims over £3,000) is £220.00. These fees will apply from 4 April 2011.
