Summer Placement Scheme
Our summer placement scheme now plays an important role in selecting candidates for training contracts. In 2008 we will be offering a total of 30 one-week placements, with five candidates commencing on each of 23 June, 30 June, 7 July, 14 July or 21 July 2008. If you are selected for one of these placements you will be given the opportunity to work in one of our six practice areas; Corporate and Commercial, Corporate Recovery, Commercial Property, Dispute Resolution, Business Crime and Regulatory or Private Client.
During a placement with us you will be given the chance to follow various team members through their day to day workloads and, where appropriate, to meet with clients and attend court hearings. In addition, you will be given a number of tasks to complete. So you can gain an insight as to what it is really like to be a trainee at Clarion Solicitors LLP you will have lunch with some of our current trainees and attend a social event one evening with members of our ClarioNet group. On the final day of the placement you will undertake a series of assessment tests and have an interview.
If you wish to join our work experience programme you must complete an application form and submit it to us by 28 February 2008. The application can either be typed or handwritten. Please specify on your application form which week you would prefer to undertake your placement.
Please note that placements in 2008 are only offered to candidates who are seeking to commence their training contracts with us in September 2010.
Application forms are available from this website and can either be typed or handwritten. You will be notified at the beginning of March if you have been successful in your applications. Please note applications are considered in written form only and there is no automatic interviewing process.
