Appointment and Selection
Clarion appoints up to 4 trainees, commencing their training in September each year.
Applications are being taken for training contracts to commence in September 2013. Our preference is to receive typed applications for training contracts and for these to be submitted electronically via email to trainingcontracts@clarionsolicitors.com.
There is no automatic placement and interview process and we cannot enter into correspondence with applicants about the success or otherwise of their application.
We carry out a period of vacation placements during June and July. We will invite 8 successful candidates to join us for one week during the vacation placement period. You will spend your time in one of our departments being supervised by a partner or senior solicitor. During your time with us you will follow team members through their day to day workloads. Where appropriate, you will meet with clients and attend Court hearings.
So that you can gain an insight as to what it is really like to be a trainee at Clarion you will have lunch with some of our current trainees and attend a social event one evening with members of our ClarioNet group.
On the final day of your work placement you will undertake a series of assessments and have an interview with members of the graduate recruitment team.
We regret that we are unable to provide sponsorship for the GDL or LPC.
Please note that all training contracts up to and including September 2012 have now been allocated and we do not offer work experience placements other than as part of the vacation placement scheme set out above.
