Contentious trusts and probate
The contentious trust and probate team deals with a whole range of issues that can arise in trusts and the administration of estates. This includes handling disputes over wills. The team uses the experience of our private client and litigation solicitors, ensuring that all members of the team have the appropriate experience to deal with these types of cases. We act for executors/trustees and for beneficiaries. We also deal with claims involving negligent advice given by other practitioners in these fields.
With our vast experience of contentious probate, we are well aware that this field is often both legally and emotionally complicated. The team is always sensitive to the emotional complexities involved and places the utmost importance from the outset, assessing when to guide a dispute to an amicable resolution and when to assertively pursue a matter through the courts using our specialist litigation team.
