Richard is well-known in the North of England for his expertise in all aspects of employment law. His experience ranges from drafting contracts, executive hiring and firing and enforcement of covenants, through the management of redundancy programmes, restructuring, TUPE issues, and employment aspects of corporate and corporate finance transactions of all kinds, and includes significant experience of tribunal litigation, including advocacy. He has acted as the adviser on employment aspects in a number of high profile corporate transactions including the purchase by Sainsburys of 98 Jackson stores, and the purchase by Bridgeport Capital of Leeds/Bradford International Airport.
Richard joined Clarion in July 2007, having spent over 6 years with national firm Addleshaw Goddard. He has an excellent reputation for providing clear, practical and commercial advice to individual executives and corporate bodies.
