Sharon undertakes a wide variety of private client services, specialising in the administration of complex estates, both non-contentious and contentious and advising and drafting wills, powers of attorney and also providing inheritance tax planning advice, either through wills, or life time planning with the use of trusts.
Sharon also deals with the administration of trusts. She has extensive experience in dealing with contentious trusts and estates, liaising with the contentious probate team in litigation.
Sharon obtained a law degree from Northumbria University, completing her training contract at a Yorkshire city centre practice. She qualified as a solicitor in September 2001, joining Clarion in October 2006 and becoming senior associate in April 2008. She is a member of the Society for Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), and is a committee member for the Yorkshire branch of STEP. Sharon is also an associate member of the Solicitors for the Elderly.
